The Silence
" The beauty of silence lies in the all-encompassing sound that comforts and helps one feel at ease in their own environment. " Silence has its own sound, which is something I never would have thought about. During the time that I was perched above the Himalayas, the lofty peaks covered in snow were being caressed by the gentle clouds. The sky was a shade of blue that no human can recreate it. At that point, we would get the sense that we are extremely insignificant in every meaning of the word. Sitting on a little rock, I closed my eyes to absorb the beauty. At that moment, I felt this overwhelming silence. Despite the fact that there were other people around and enjoying this sight with boisterous noises, those noises were unable to break through the silence within me. It was like a blanket wrapped on a cold winter night. It was like the mother's womb protecting us from the outside world. I never wanted to come out of this experience. I felt at home at that moment.
