Each thought, each
word and ultimately, every action counts in the ongoing journey of our life.” all nodded. Rafael continued.
“When you think
good, when you do good, you would automatically produce positive energy. But
that is not very easy. You should be good within, only then you can do good, or
else you’d not be able to do any good.” All nodded
"Have you heard in
the Bible, where Jesus says about being good?"
“ A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.” All nodded.
“ A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.” All nodded.
“Exactly Mathew, It’s the very same.”
All nodded.
“ But Rafael, why is
it necessary to create positive energy, by doing good? Can’t we gain positive
energy without doing anything, good or bad?” All smiled.
“Good question
Mathew. When you love someone what will you do?”
“Oh!!! I don’t think
I could answer that Rafael, because I think I’d do anything.” All nodded.
“Exactly Mathew,
even I would do the same, here we do not have any obligation to do anything to
anybody. We do because we love the other person, care for the other person
because they are part of our being, that knowledge would come only when our
souls are opened, because love comes from the very being of Man – soul. Even
though if you make a choice not to do, we cannot stay inert because, we are one
in God, which means all the drops of God’s soul (every human being is a drop of
God’s soul) unites in the ocean of God
“You wicked, lazy
servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I
have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit
with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with
interest. Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten
talents. For
everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever
does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. And throw that worthless
servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of
teeth.”
“The parable of the
lazy servant?”
“Yes the parable of
the lazy servant. So just look how drastic a measure you’d be getting for not
extending your goodness to others?” All nodded.
“So what do you
think? Is it wise to stay inactive?”
“I don’t think so.
But still there is one thing, I don’t understand, why such drastic measures,
Rafael? We are not doing anything bad.” All nodded
“Good question
Mathew. We’ll continue this tomorrow.” All nodded
