You Hurt Me Once upon A Time

Yesterday, I met a young boy who was still carrying a quiet hurt. Months ago, he had worked hard to upload documents on an app, but his effort went unrecognized. His supervisor reported fewer submissions than he had actually completed, while a colleague was credited with more than they had done.

Six months have passed, yet the pain remains—unspoken, unresolved, and quietly shaping his thoughts.

What happens if he continues to hold on to this hurt?

  1. His performance will reduce.
  2. He will not be interested in work at all.
  3. He will become sick because the hormones of hate and hurt are acidic in nature which cause damage to his body and some of the organs too in the process.
What happens, if he forgives and forgets this incident?

  1. Healthier relationships.
  2. Improved mental health.
  3. Less anxiety, stress and hostility.
  4. Fewer symptoms of depression.
  5. Lower blood pressure.
  6. A stronger immune system.
  7. Improved heart health.
  8. Improved self-esteem.

Only thing I want to say is, no matter who hurts you or degrades you, what you should feel is your choice. The life you have can be happily ever after or a hell hole with the choices you make. So choose wisely. I really hope that he too knows what he is doing. God bless.
