Law of Attraction

I just happened to read the law of attraction from a site. Please check out. Every living thing has a unique energy signature, a vibration. As humans, our vibration changes by what we focus on. When you look at a beautiful sunset or watch a puppy playing, your vibrations will soften. If you pay attention, you will feel a quality of openness and love. Conversely, if you check in with yourself while watching the 5 o’clock news or a political debate, you’ll probably notice that your vibrations will shift into a state of contraction, actually pulling away from the quality of love. In other words, you will feel negative feelings. Likewise, our vibrations change by the thoughts that we keep our attention on, especially by the thoughts that hold our dominant attention. If your mind is predominantly filled with lack or resistance, you will feel a negative energy pervade your being. On the other hand, if you train yourself to focus on positive thoughts, you will feel yourself aligning wit

Everything happens for a reason

I have a tendency to give a message to my guest in a small paper or by a small card after they take a tour. Its my writer's tendency I feel. And I usually do not ask what message they received. So yesterday, one guest read her message and said, "Oh!!! it's a good message, I should really keep this in mind always and folded and kept it in her bag. Then we continued talking. In between the conversation, she said, "you should really practice the message you are giving to everybody because you are talking just opposite what you are writing." I was surprised because I didn't know what her message was and to be frank, I felt ashamed too. You know, even if I write great dialogues sometimes I return back to my basic nature at some point or other where fear, indecisiveness, laziness, anger, sadness, etc... do take a place in our life. Anyway she read the message she got, " Everything happens for a reason." I smiled and said, "Sure I will do that."

So Boring Work

When we are doing a work which we feel boring, we would naturally feel sleepy. But at that very moment, if we get something to do which we really love to do,then we all know that we could never close a wink. But why do we differentiate work? Now if we are denied to do what we love to do, then what will be our response? Well the answer to the last question is predictable :- Nooooooooooooo Don't do that to me. Isn't it not? You know, years back I had this same predicament. I was denied what I really loved to do. To become a doctor. It was my very existence, my dream and one fine day, my family felt and said "this profession doesn't suit a lady, especially an Indian lady, who would eventually marry and bear kids, your work would hinder the smooth running of your family. So its better to have only a basic education, just enough knowledge to help children in studies. So I feel you should stop studies and think of marriage." I was then just 17 years old. Thus my p

Advantages of Sugar

Today, my sister in law spoke, that one of her friends were speaking of the bad effects of sugar creating heart disease, diabetic, etc.... But for me, sugar is an integral part of my life because I have a sweet tooth. And one more miracle happened to me with sugar. My waistline was a bit extended, well, not bit but far more than to my liking and I was trying to reduce it. So I tried yoga, walking, etc... But was of no use. I was still the same an a little more fat. It was during that time, I got a room mate, who was a Korean. She was also a Korean doctor. I came to know about it, when I saw her with all the needles stuck on her toes and fingers. So I asked her, which is the easiest disease to treat in her system of medicine. She replied, obesity and diabetic. I just couldn't believe my luck. So I immediately asked, "Can you treat me for obesity?" She said, "No problem just drink sugar syrup or jaggery syrup mixed with water for four times a day 15mts before food.

The best way to cure fever is, soak a handkerchief in cold water and keep it in your left hand for an hour, immediately the fever comes down and if you can do that four times a day for an hour each. Then I can guarantee you. The fever would be gone. Never let the fever to get aggravated because, it would really get lots of complications not only in the brain but also the whole immune system will be down bringing us down with other diseases too. See you tomorrow. Until then, take care. Bye Meena

Beauty Tips

Image
Today I accidentally saw an advertisement of a big gathering of the great beautifying people. The advertisement was like this, "For everyone wanting to meet the stars of the hair and beauty sector, the mega event of the year." You know, when I read this, I knew, there would be an interest in every heart. But why do we have so much flutter when we hear about beauty? Simple, we feel that we would be accepted only if we have beauty. But in fact, I would like to ask one question. What is your criteria about selecting your friends? Or I will rephrase the question. How many friends do you have who are really beautiful? The answer would be either two, one or none. What does that mean. We are simply wasting our time, making ourselves beautiful. We all look for a person who is kind, smiling, easy to talk to, etc...etc... isn't it? So my advice is be beautiful at heart. Then you would be more popular than the most beautiful world in the Universe. Did I exaggerate? No, not at
