Points to note:-
  1. Book your train/ plane ticket in advance.
  2.  During peak season (September - February), its better to book rooms before hand and its a lot expensive even for a drab room.
  3. Room during off season are very much cheaper even for 5 star hotels. you might get rooms without booking too.
  4. During rainy season (June - August). You could enjoy the freshness of nature. But better keep an extra 2 or 3 sets of cothing as you would have a lot of sodden clothes, which would be difficult to dry during this season. Rooms are cheap during this time. Sometime you might get the whole place to yourself.
  5. The only precaution to be taken  is try to use mineral water for all season.
