Anger- The Root Cause of all Stomach Disorders

(19)

“Rafael, if a child is thrown by his own parents out of the house, what would be his duty?” Rafael smiled.
“Naturally, God has planned his presence in another area, he would be directed there and that is where he should fulfill his duties. Monica, there are people who become our cause of suffering. Don’t blame them, its only for our own good.”
“Oh Rafael, its terrible. I really cannot imagine myself being the cause of others suffering.” All nodded.
“Yes Monica, we all think and pray the same, that is what Jesus spoke about Judas during His last supper,
“If the person had not born”
Rafael continued, “When we are born, we are destined to keep our promises, which we are not sure but God has set some milestones in the form of people, incidents and circumstances at every corner of our lives. And these milestones help us in fulfilling our promise. So for the child, his parents became a milestone.
“Rafael, does that mean, that what the parents did to the child is not wrong?”
“No Monica, the wrong done by the parents would always be wrong unless they repent or else, they would face the same dilemma, which they gave their son, the same anguish, the same loneliness, everything to the very minutest detail and much more. That is a fact. It is already there in the scriptures,
“For they sow the wind,
and they shall reap the whirlwind”

Their action would come back to them.”
“Ohhh!!!! But that’s terrible Rafael. If the boy forgives, will it pass off from his parents?”
“No Rebecca, the boy would be elevated to a higher platform so that He can reach God much more quickly than scheduled not alleviate the parents mistake. There is a very big difference between forgiveness and repentance.” Rafael continued
“Can anyone really say the synonym of Forgiveness?” all were silent. Some nodded in the negative and shrugged.
“Its OK. I’ll say, there are loads of it, which is connected in some way or the other and when all these synonyms put together we get the real picture of the word. The synonyms are absolve, accept apology, bear no malice, clear, commute, dismiss from the   mind,  let bygones be bygones, let it go, let off easy, let off, release, relent, think no more of, turn other cheek, wink at, wipe slate clean. And do you know the antonym  of Forgiveness?”
“Punish?”
“Yes Mathew it is punishment, accusations, blaming, censuring, charging. Now I want you to take the place of the person, who is going to give punishment, to blame someone, to accuse someone. With what mind will he be doing all these?”
“Anger and hatred.”
“Exactly anger and hatred, For any living being, feelings of any sort cannot be contained in ones own being, it will overflow, whether it is love or hate, happiness or sadness. But these feelings produce in us stimulating hormones.”
“Really Rafael? Oh!!! That’s news. How does feelings produce hormones, would you explain it in detail?”
“Years back man found that laughing a lot lengthens the life span of man and makes him healthy too and that is when people started using laughing gas or laugh therapy for good health and long life. Its because, laugh produces good vibration in the body producing positive energy and thereby sensitizing the hormones in the brain which leads to heal the tattered cells, recuperating cells and diseased cells. It is the same case with the emotion of Love, it heals. If a person is genuinely in love, however you hurt him, he would not have any ill feeling and his healing hormones are always flowing throughout his system making him look young and energetic and passing positive energy to all the people around.”
“What about hate Rafael?”
“Hate burns, hatred and anger are the acid of the body it not only burns the owner and makes him sick, when the hatred overflows, it burns the people who comes at the receiving end. Now the question I have to ask you guys is, if the boy who was thrown out by his parents doesn’t utter a word and moves off, without him showing his physical presence, does it make a difference to the parents?”
“I don’t think so, Rafael. The child was not accepted. So his going doesn’t make any difference until, the parents come to know that it was their duty to cherish the child, accept the child as their own, that makes the difference.”
“Exactly Rebecca, that thought, when the awareness come to them that they had forfeited the duty they had to fulfill, and if they really feel sorry for it, then we call repentance. It should come from the part of the parents, not from the child. Then the parent would think of doing amendments to the child. Repentance is in fact a healing balm. If one does not repent, the anger which had already burned the insides would be a cause of all downfalls from then on.”
“But how does anger become the cause of the parents’ downfall?”
“Good question, Mark. Imagine that you cut your finger with a knife” all nodded. “at first the blood came and you just applied some antiseptic and the very next day, you cut the same finger in the same place.”
“Ouch!!! It’d be painful.”
“Absolutely Right Rebecca and if this process continues on a daily basis, what would be the state of the finger?”
“Better to be off the palm than on it. Good for nothing, a nuisance to the whole body and mind.”
“Exactly Rebecca, that is what would happen to people who are in deep hatred and anger. The acid that produces from the body burns each time it is produced and when it is produced on a daily basis or hourly basis what would be his situation?”
“Loser!!!!”
“Yes Mathew, it would be difficult to win and he would be always sick.”
“But Rafael, do you mean to say the acid is produced from the brain?”
“No Monica, brain sends only signals to do the actions, when in anger or hatred, the brain stimulates the stomach to produce acid, to produce the extra energy and with each angry thought or hatred, the brain gives the command to the stomach to produce the extra energy and when the food is burned out, he would have only the burning sensation and then stomach disorders, acidity, ulcers, cancers and there goes the list of diseases. So people who complain about stomach problems are the people who are full of hatred and anger.”
“Now the boy who was at the receiving end left. What would be his feeling?”
“Hurt, loneliness, helplessness, powerlessness?”
“Yes Mathew. These feelings are natural but unfortunately they  too are acidic just like hatred, it can cause much more grievous situation. So it is important for the boy to accept the situation and help himself know, that he has been put into someone else’s services for the time being by a much more powerful and loving person than his parents. He should move on, clear the slate of all the actions others had done to him and start anew. That is when we call forgiveness.”
“But still a question persists Rafael. If the boy has forgiven, don’t you think, he should stay back with his parents?”
“That’s a good question Monica. No one would get out immediately when a parent says to get out. Do you know why? Its because the children has a strong bond with the parents with regard to faith and love. So if they persist,  on throwing him out, then naturally his faith gets a thorough shake dwindling the faith he had with his parents, he feels that they are not comfortable with his presence. It is then that he decides to get away from them. No man can leave behind their loved ones even if they are literally thrown out but when it becomes incessant with both words and actions, the decision is taken to leave. So even if the boy forgives and stays back they would have to do much more meaner mistakes to throw him out of the house as they are still in the clutches of hatred and anger. So what do you think. Should the boy stay or move on?”
“Yes Rafael, you’re right. Its better the boy move on.”
“When he moves out of their lives, if the boy forgives them, then surely a change would come. But compulsorily they should repent or else bear the consequences.”
“So without repentance the wrath of God would be opened on you,
But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire. So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Rafael continued. “and that goes with forgiveness too. Forgiveness too is very important for the smooth running of our lives, the life of the persecuted. That is what Jesus did as the last act before death.
“Forgive them father, for they do not know what they are doing.”
Rafael continued “Jesus did forgive, this act of forgiveness helped him gain quick access to God, thus proving forgiveness would indeed raise the persecuted to a higher pedestal in the eyes of God,
Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

“But Rafael, you have been saying only about Jesus, which means Christian faith. So how does it encompass all mankind?”
“Great question Mark. Why don’t we discuss it tomorrow? All nodded
...to be contd....(20)....
Until then... Take care.....Bye
